I recently got a oil change and a fuel flush done on my 1986 GMC S-15 4x4 V6 2.8 with a RV cam. As soon as i got it back, the check engine light was on. I did the paperclip diagnosis and it came back that it was a bad Map sensor and bad O2 sensor. I have changed these sensors both before the oil change. Does the computer need to be reset? It never was on 24/7 like it is now.( codes were 3 pause 4 and 4 pause 5)

You should check to make sure the sensors are seated correctly, then, yes, pull the fuses for the ecm, or pull the neg. battery cable. After letting it sit for a couple minutes, ( i always go have a smoke), reconnect, start engine, and let the engine re-learn the idle. (don't use the accelerator) Hopefully this will help. If you still get codes, try an old computer trick: pull the old sensors, use electric contact cleaner to clean the connections, let dry, re-seat the sensors, clear the computer memory again, and see if that fixes it. :smokin:
