what is wrong with my car??? please help!!!

I kinda drove my car hard this weekend and since monday my car feels like the clutch is out!!! as soon as it passes 2 1/2k rpm, it just revs. Even in 6th gear, when i bearly touch the gas peddal it would just rev. I even turn the boost down to 5ps and still dose it?? I replaced my stock clutch with a ACT HEAVY DUTY STREET CLUTCH about 5 or 6k miles ago. When i got the clutch i dident even drive it hard for a 1500miles, because i wanted to brake into the clutch. I cant imagine the cluthc would go out that fast. I been to the track 2 times and i had few races on the street!!! (i say at max i did about 15 hard lunches with the clutch). what could cause this problem???? Could be that i have to adjust my clutch pedal?? if so how do i adjusted???

Everytime i think about it, i am sure its not the clutch because i was harder on my 70k miles old stock clutch and it dident go out that fast!!!

Well it's possible that you used too much grease when you installed the clutch, usually causes it to start slipping around 5000 miles after install. With hard launches it's also possible that a spring broke in the clutch or something on the pressure plate. Sounds clutch related to me though, as soon as the engine puts some torque to the clutch it slips. Can you get it to grip above 2k at all? I doubt it's an adjustment issue but it is possible...that's easy to check though so i'd check that first.

the think its ok till about 2 or 2 1/2k and after that at any gear it would just rev, my cousin has 95 300ZX TT and he had a ACT clutch also and spring on it came off. But he just got stuck in gear and he had to tow his car to the shop!! if the clutch springs come off or if it falls apart would that go under the warranty??

Yes I think that would qualify as product defect and not installation error. But you would have to take it all apart to figure that out.

my friend has a 9 sec eclipse with a kevlar clutch that was supposed to be able to hold up to 700 hp and he was driving it onto the freeway in third gear and the clutch went..everytime he hits any boost what so ever the rpm just goes and the clutch slips...that is exactly what it sounds like is happening to you and it turned out to be his clutch....it wont grab once you hit any torque....its very possible it could be your clutch!

what could of happen to the clutch do??? burned, broken, spring came off????
