My Maint Reqd light is on... what could be the problem?

About a month ago I guess it started flashing when I turned on my car, but it would go away. I pressed the button under the dash to reset it. A week and a half ago I had to make a somewhat long trip of about 80 miles (alot longer than what I usually drive). Anyways, it was fine the entire way. It didn't start acting funny or make any different noises or anything. I stopped into a grocery store to ask where the hotel is that I'm staying at and came out a minute or two later. When I started my car, the maint light came on and stayed on. Nothing is different, however. It still drives perfectly fine and I've since driven back home. I changed the air filter and the oil when I got home and have driven back... still with no problems. What's the deal? Anyone have any ideas?

...and how do I know what code its throwing? Take it to autozone or some place like that, they'll pull the code for you for free. That's the only thing you can do until you know what code it is.
