sure itz old news but hasport has k series mounts now available

Personaly I think the K- Series swap is a rip off.
The engine is like 6 grand, the frrekin mounts are $750.
I can think of plenty of ways to go faster, for cheaper.
What does everyone else think ?

well itz a new swap...i'm sure the prices will be high until another engine is developed...which will be a while i think

I think thats whats so wonderful about hondas. Most of there motors have really high pontential and you really can't go wrong with any of them. If i had a choice i would go b over k just because its cheaper and the potential is high and more to it and it'll never change.

a guy i work with has a racing crx that he autox's and road races and he has ls/vtec right now but hes gonna sell it and save up for a k20 to drop in it. He also works for a shop called Hybrid Motorsports so he has everything he needs to do it.

Are the heads between the 160 hp and 210 hp swappable? It might be cheaper to buy the base engine, and buy the head from some idiot who overred their RSX.

Yes, especially in 4th gen Civics... Maybe in an EK or EG, I think the K series would be a sweet swap, those things are NA monsters.

I think its a great swap, just very costly right now. As the prices go down in the years im sure its going to be a very popular swap.
