Ok I was in a heated discussion about with a guy from work, I use like 1 oz to every 10 gallons in my scout, and he was saying for my laser probably be more? What would be a good ratio that would clean the intake manifold out and fuel lines with out doing harm?

Shit, I had a sweet article on using acetone for fuel economy reasons. I forget where it was though, and I cant find the link I saved. The ratio you give sounds pretty close, maybe a little low. At any rate, I dont see how adding anything to the fuel will clean out the intake manifold, which doesnt see any fuel.

Oh, no, the acetone vaporizes when exposed to like any heat, so it breaks up the carbon and shit in the intake, it gets sucked in and burned. Also better for gas mileage, but using too much can harm injectors and other parts.

I guess my point is that the injectors are in the head, so it should never come in contact with the intake.

it will clean the valve heads and the combustion chamber but it wont clean the intake.
