I have a 93 prelude that had an f22a in it I snaped a rod so I bought a f22b jdm vtec motor for 600 dollars. I am just wondering if this is going to be an easy swap. Answers asap please so worried about this. thanks a ton.

The mounts should be the same, and the tranny should bolt in. The only things to worry would be electronics: ECU, wiring, and coils being on the wrong side.

Yeah your going to have to switch ignitions and fuel rails among other things.

Well, you'll need to switch out some of the ignition wiring from the jdm engine to work better with the ECU.

Tyfox:
I bought a 93 prelude, and its H23A1 was replaced with an F22B (from Japan). Do you know what engine parts to order for timing belts, water pumps, etc. Are they same as H23A1?? I'd hate to order and seals, etc. all be wrong.
Usually parts guys want make and model, not engine codes.
