Question about the walbro 255 fuel pump

I just bought one, do I 100% need an AFPR? What would happen if I didnt get one?

Sweet i just bought mine too. yea with the prssure youll be pushing its recommended that you get a fpr from what i heard from everyone on here, but i think you can pass it if you arent running driving the car too hard.

if you install the pump, then test your base fuel pressure you notice its not at 43psi. the 200 spent on managing your base fuel pressure will out way the pice of burring out 02 sensors and spark plugs frequently. and of course there is the problem of rich knock. we all should know what that does to our engines.

If you install a fpr, your gonna need the guage to adjust the pressure. As for needing it with the 255... I donno

All of the required lines and fittings. You can take a few minutes and look at what various DSM vendors include in the fuel line kits. Typically a rail end adapter, hose end, hose, hose end, adapter fitting to the reg, plug for the other input, and outlet fitting for 1/4 or 3/8 hose. Do yourself a favor and run a 3/8th hard line back to the tank and use 3/8th hose on a 2g. The stock return line is enough of a restriction that the regulator upgrade alone is not enough.
