should already be set at about 12

if u have a MBC, set it to 12, thats what my T-25 tops out at I think without a MBC

i may be wrong

Before you play around with boost you need a boost gauge. Do that first. Afterward, set the boost at 15-16psi. The stock 2g bov shouldn't let you get that high, but maybe you'll get lucky. You won't hold that level to redline. You'll need a boost controller to change the stock setting, or mess with the bcs restrictor. A manual boost controller is your best bet. Good luck.

you cant increase it without a boost controller. the boost controle sylinoid is what manages the boost levels on your car. well. he could have stuck the wastegate open. do a leakdown test.

do yourself a favor and throw that pos plastic bov in the trash or sell it to a honda kid and buy yourself a dejontool uicp with 1g bov flange and pick up one of the 1g bov's on ebay. you'll be much happier.

mbc bypasses the boost controle sylinoid, so doing the bcs mod wont be worth the effort. a few of us including myself have $10 ebay mbc's that seem to extreamly well.

Are you kidding me? Absolutely don't buy a boost controller off of ebay. I've tried it once, and so has my buddy, both resulting in a boost controller that ran infinite boost all the time. I would deffinitely check your wastegate and make sure it's not stuck open. Then I'd run down to the local performance shop and get yourself an MBC and a boost guage. 15 psi should be fine, that's what I ran on my 1 gen for a while, just turn it down on colder nights.

I've bought at least 3 different brands, all off of ebay... all of which ran infinite boost. And no, It was not hooked up backwards ;)
