Aftermarket Gauges

Hello, im very new to these VW's and i have an 84 VW rabbit GTI and i was wondering where would be the best spots to install an aftermarket Oil pressure gauge, mechanical water temp gauge and amp meter. please be specfic if you wish to respond.

first tell me why you want to do this if you already have all those gauges in the car as is... they are on your pod by the shifter.
second... how big are the guages we are talking here. If you want someone to be specific about their response to you, you need to be more specific about the sizes, so we know where they can fit...

come on, give as much as you ask for...

The Gauges are the exact size that are in the floor gauge console, so far i have the oil pressure and water temp gauge installed, but i don't know where to hook up the ammeter it has to between the alternator, battery and ignition. any ideas, this is for a 84 vw rabbit gti
