4 wheel drive

my 4 wheel drive worked before I had my tranny rebuilt but now it doesn't the guy at the shop who rebuilt it said it wasn't anything that he did. anyone have any ideas, my 4 wheel drive shifter is on the hump and doesn't light up anymore ( it use to show the front wheels on the diagram lite up when engaged) I know nada about 4x4s

it had to be something the trans shop did i would talk with him agian.

I think the engagement system is electric or vacuum operated. Check ALL the connections electrical and otherwise. And it doesn't sound like the tranny guy is too good either, he could easily check it out for you!
