I'm new here. A friend of mine has an Acura Legend 1991 LS with a 3,2l engine. His engine is okay for the first five minutes, then it starts to rev up and down continuously. Does anyone have a idea what sensor could cause this.

possible o2, really need codes pulled. you could replce all of the components b4 u get the one you need

Search for IACV or idle air control valve

My 95 acura was doing the same thing. the sensors are a good thing to check, there are (2) of them.
You may also have your injector seals checked out, (3) of mine were spilt on the left side. And have the throttle body cleaned and the idle adjusted.

This is most likely your problem. Not to difficult a fix either, just kind of a pain in the ass to get to.
