Hi guys.

Well finally it's finished. This is the Aoshima Bomex RX-7. I've been busy with it since december last year. Took so long because of some problems and waiting for stuff to come in. The progress is in here:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=338097

Info:
Vents made in the front bumper
Holes between skirts and original body filled
Holes between rear bumper and original body filled
Top of the rear bumper made accurate with the real one
Custom made light houses in the rear bumper (the included decals aren't used.
Custom made headlights using Raybrig NSX headlights as a base
Scratchbuild exhaust system
Scratchbuild aluminium muffler
Scratchbuild C-west GT-wing with SAS PE stands
Nismo LM GT.. wheels from the Tamiya Skyline V-spec II
Renaissance mesh (diamond) in front and rear
Removed rear window wiper
Scratchbuild Alpine amplifier (wired)
Two scratchbuild Trust subwoofers (with intire interior modification)
Scratchbuild suspension connector in the back
Custom made decals thanks to Steve

Well that's about it for the mods. Color is Tamiya TS-17. Had some problems painting it. That's why it took so long as well. I airbrushed the interior (first time ever) and I really likes doing that. All together I'm pretty happy with it. The paintjob is the best I've done so far. It's definitaly the best model in my collection so far.

Well enough talk, here it is:

The model looks good, but the wing looks a bit strange to me.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Wheelin75, I know my models are becoming better and better. Just like Veyron always says: There's a lesson in every model. I always try to make some lessons out of every model so can improve my skills. Besides that it's a challenge to me to make every next build better then the last one. The wing was also just a test. I got the idea from Steve (Hiro) and was just playing with some styrene. This thing came out. Some people like it. Some don't. I like it a lot. In my eyes it's not overdone though it catches the eye... Thanks for the comments again. Cheers!

Yes I do. Here they are:

916 -->

R1 -->
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=292552

I was very happy with the 916 when it was finished. Though I've learned so much the last year and improved my skills a lot so I'm doubting about building another one but better.

The R1 is my best overal model so far. I still lov e it. Though, it isn't in my collection as it was a gift for my brother :screwy:
