Try replacing the Fuel Pressure regulator
If you ever let the gas get below a 1/4 tank the fuel pump is probably dead.
end of story.

Can you hear the pump running? It should run for a couple seconds with turning on the ignition to run. Pop the gas cap and listen while someone turns the ignition on after the car has sat for a while. If you don't hear it run, check for power to the sender wiring, if you have power to the pump with ignition on, then you may well have a bad pump. BTW they don't just go bad by driving below a quarter tank, they are bottom feeders. Running them dry even for a short time will do them in though.

True and Not True. I was not completely correct in my previous statement but as many people have found out, letting them consistantly go below 1/4 tank, is never good and often cause failure if done often.
