whenever i go over 100 my steering wheel makes a lot of noise and i can make it stop by holding the center piece with my thumbs but thats only with 2 hands and i like to drive a lot of the time with 1 hand so does anyone know a quick fix for the noise? and yes if i am really smashing and having to go around people i drive with 2 hands but if im just cruising (yes i cruise at 100+) i just make the sacrifice and drive with 1 hand and listen to the noise. but is there any fix for it besides getting a new steering wheel?

id bet that it is related to alignment and/or tire balancing/rotating

What kind of noise are we talking about? My car makes a LOUD vibrating noise at 100+ on rougher roads. Im gonna realign my wheels soon and see if that fixes it if not im gonna go through the whole car and tighten down everything that may be rattling.

it is the center piece of the steering wheel that is designed to come out when the airbag pops out i can tell because if i hold it in the noise stops. and yeah it just rattles like crazy at 100+. im gonna try some double sided tape in there i think
