this was before my wreck

When i was back in st. louis, all my friends wanted to race me. This was when i raced the hatch in my other post. My first race was 90 integra GS 5 speed. I started pulling on him at the end of first and never stopped, winning by several carlengths. My next race was a 92 GS-R <2nd gen GS-Rs are badass by the way> He has the same hp rating as me w/ a 1.7L. This one was a lot closer i only ended up winning by a carlength. Then I raced my friends 94 GS-R w/ comptech clutch/flywheel, and he waxed my ass by a few lengths, like he always does. Someday man...

Do you have pics of the wreck?

I don't believe he has any pics of the wreck, but we might be able to go over to the shop and get some of it in it's disarray. I believe they started ordering the parts this past Tuesday or Wednesday, so they should be coming in this next week. So, there shouldn't be much work done on it yet.

yeah lets go and get some pics of the teardown process. damn i miss my car. As soon as it gets back, we are heading out to topeka to run them

what exactly did you do to your car? Maybe i read about it in the past, but i dont remember:licker:

i slid into an accord that pulled out in front of me. doesnt help that i was looking at my guages

well from the sound of it, it was his fault, am i right? I hope you had some good insurance on that car or else im sorry :(

The insurance will cover it regardless. It all depends on what the company is going to do with the policy after the car is fixed. The family has had quite a few instances lately with cars, and since we're all on a group plan, they may drop us in the near future...:(

Have you gotten a quote from a shop on it yet? Wondering how much it'll cost them to pull the frame where the hood is latched.

Honda hood latches are too damn strong.:silly2:

They quoted at about $4K for the repair. Yeah, the grille just pulled away from the bumper with the hood latch. Hey Trav, you think when they put the new one on it that it'll have the "H" on it again?

yeah but ill just take it out again. Itll give me a chance to clean my air filter too

ok i got my car back last night. Looks pretty good ill post some pics once i get them. I really need to lower my car....
