Request advice 1998 Century - should I buy

Hi Guys
A friend of mine is selling me his 1998 Century for $2000 (KBB value 3000)... The only catch is that it has run 140K already ... should I even bother to look out for it. My main concern is that it should last me a couple of years on good roads and 700 miles per month.

With that mileage the car is not worth $2000. Maybe $1200. On the bright side everything would've failed by now- so it should keep going.
