Will installing a bodykit on my car negatively effect the performance of my car any? i have a 95 gsr w/ aem cai and a greddy cat-back.

Wind resistance and lightly added weight. But some can be more aerodynamic and lighter than the stock.

dont get fiberglass kits...good body shop friend doesnt even touch fiberglass cause most of it is poor quality...may cost less now but in the long run it will be as much if not more then a good kit cause of labor time to get proper fitment and then it spiderwebs with even the slightest of dents and dings (the paint)...hes even had one that he had to rivit on cause it was such crap

what if i weld it to the bady for that clean unibody look. and what else are bodykits made of.

polyurethane (spelling) is the next step up and is the prefered. i've only heard of more expensive brands such as Mugen and Veilside making kits that actually add to your aerodynamics. most...will slow you down a bit.

if you're worried about speed, definately stay away from kits. they're going to cost a lot (to do it right) w/ out adding any thing but looks.
