please help me out guys like the subject says im looking to remove the top part of my back see and it looks like its locked into brackets? and i cant seem to figure out exactly how to get them out of the brackets that are attached to the frame of the vehicle, im doing this because im trying to clean up my sound system in my run (2 power acoustik 12s and 2 amps powering each and a cap and whatnot and im trying to run a shorter cable and just ditch the backseat so the bass comes into the car, can anyone contact me quickly VIA AIM and help me out? Limpbizkit13431 is the screenname thanks in advance!

Problem solved =P

To remove the back of the seat, you first have to remove the bottom part. If you put your hand under the bottom of the seat, u should feel 2 bolts holding it in. Unscrew those and slide the seat out. Then there will be 2 more bolts holding in the back part of the seat, where the seatbelts are. Undo those and slide the seat up, then bingo.

ok guys thanks for the tips and help with the whole backseat but now i have another issue, i have to lift my sub box while its in the trunk and get a board or something under it so i can get about half an inch clearance for my amps...im an effin idiot hehe, hopefully this can be done otherwise looks like im recarpeting and mounting another piece of mdf board ....hopefully this trunk will work with me,

and before i modified my sound system i had bad ground and hopefully i took care of that because my power acoustik amps kept going into protection mode when they powered up,

also another dumb question because i think i wired it right this time around but, to get a remote control from the head unit to each amp, cant i just take the cable and wire it up to another cable and have that cable run to both amps to power them up?
