If anyone could help me with this i'd greatly appreciate it... I did a conversion from AUTO to 5 speed on my 98 240sx...

I have read the below statement in the FAQ but i don't understand it very clearly. Could someone elaborate on it ?
"24) Backup Lights & Starting system....
-The top connector with two female blade connections needs to be jumpered for the car to start.
AND
- The third connector down from the top uses pins 3 & 8 for the backup lights. Switch pins 3&8 using the wiring from the backup light switch on the transmission. " which ones are pins 3 and 8 ?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Could someone please tell me how to get my REVERSE LIGTHS working when i put my car in reverse...?

Could someone tell me which wires and what do i need to do with the wires - how do i wire it up and where - so i can have the reverse lights working ? Could you give some details about this ??... from the top going down, next to the fuse box there are 6 plugs... from my MT wiring harness i only have 2 plugs that fit plugs 5 and 6 (the two bottom ones) on the car...

Also if someone could shed some light on how to wire up the clutch pedal switches so that the car only starts when the

clutch is pressed or only when the car is in neutral ? ???

Just so you know what i have done so far...
I used the wiring harness that came with the 5 speed tranny... the wiring harness from the AUTO tranny had 6 plugs (4 off the shifter switch AND 2 from the sensors) coming somewhere next to the fuse box... the wiring harness from the MANUAL tranny has only 2 plugs that come next to the fuse box... which is fine, they fit 2 of the 6 plugs already on the car (2 of the plugs that the auto tranny harness also fit)... the only difference is that one of the plugs coming from the MT has 3 wires and has to go into a plug which only accepts 2 wires... i swaped out the 3 prong plastic plug off the MT harness with the 2 prong plastic plug off the AT harness so that i can fit the plug, BUT i had to leave one wire hanging out in the open, NOT CONNECTED...

thanks
Mike
