ok so I know NOTHING about cars and here is my problem:
#1 the E-brake has been disconnected since we owned the car and the pedal was ziptied up to prevent it from falling. When it would fall the brake light would go on and it would start chiming to get your attention. Well now the damn light is on all the time and the chiming won't stop. Someone told me there is a fuse I can remove for this chime. Can anyone send me a pic of the fuse panel with instructions on where to find it in the car lol and which one to pull??
#2 when the car has been sitting for more than an hour or so, it won't go into gear AT ALL. just running the car for awhile doesn't work you actually have to rev it at around 2000 rpm. The length of time you have to do this depends on a) the temp outside (the colder it is the longer it takes) and b) exactly how long the car has sat. If it runs for a good amount of time once it is in gear you can shut it off and it will run again no problem if it is within the hour. We have tried lupus (SP?) and that kinda worked for awhile then it seemed to get worse. Any suggestions?

The fuse box is under the dash near the driver door. Pull each fuse until the chime goes away.
As for the second part, you either have a fluid problem (too low--really old, etc), or far more likely you need a new transmission or an overhaul of your transmission. Either way, consider the car nice while you had it and sell it for what you can honestly get, and buy another 92 (if you like them).

I know about this fuse box and unfortunately the fuse that stops the chime also kills my panel lights. Is there not a mian fuse panel under the hood somewhere??

Yes, there is, but it will not help you. It simply has some other large fuses for some main systems, but not for anything to do with that chime.

Subscribe to the Alldata 1992 Lesabre online repair manual system and look through all the wiring diagrams (it is not easy to find a specific one, but you'll see). Maybe there is a way to bypass the system. BUT I do not know how, and I would not recommend it. It may be bad for the car somehow.
If it were me, I'd have it towed to the dealership and buy a new cyclinder with a new key to go with it. Yes, it will cost alot, but it will be right and it will work.
If I could not afford that, I'd junk the car, or totally jerry-rig the ignition system to completely bypass the key altogether (but that is frought with other problems).
