ANOTHER accident... WOOHOO!!!

My car has been in 2 accidents within the 6 months I've owned it, and I haven't been in it either time... lol. The day I bought the car, I had my mechanic friend drive it for a few miles to listen to the engine. I got off on an offramp with his car and he rearended me while driving mine. lol the front bumper was trashed anyways so it was no big deal. I laughed my ass off at it, actually. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I got rear-ended by myself. and he rear-ended himself.

But then this weekend my roommate and my other roommate were shooting bbs at each other. one was in his POS pickup truck. he pulled out and my roommate shot him. they were still shooting at each other. the kid got pissed off that he got shot. WHILE SHOOTING... IN A FUCKING BB FIGHT... (by the way they were plastic bbs, no big deal.) so I walk back outside right about then. the roommate flipped his pickup truck around and STOMPED the gas at the end of the driveway, going INTO it. my poor little car was at the top of the driveway. He tried to brake and just slammed into the back of it. kicked the car 4 feet into my front yard. Had it been angled the way normal people park, like straight towards the house not cockeyed, it would have hit the house. So I flipped out on him and tried to call the police to file a report and call his insurance company. his grandmother called me before I could and said they'd pay for it if I kept it off the insurance. And I haven't talked to him as of yet. I'll barely even look at him. He was just being stupid and pissy and he broke some shit. I'd seen him do it before when he gets pissed. Just peel all out and fly around corners and crap. Seen him get SO CLOSE to cars and he finally hit one, just like I always said... That was saturday. And he won't even come out of his room when I'm home cuz i give him this icy stare from the bowels of hell and won't say a word to him. He called me yesterday from a number I didn't know so I picked it up and he said he found a bumper online for $80. I told him i wanted a new one and that I'd give him the quote. My trunk opens but it scrapes against my hood (hoods in the back, 'member? MR2) so i took it to my friend that owns a body shop, who wrote up a high $ estimate for me: $973.63 then I got a second because dood's gonna hit the ROOF when he finds out how much it's going to be, the second one is $1125.03. He tried to tell me to get it fixed and send him the bill. But I've already got a bumper coming in next week; my body kit bumper. If it was just like an accident I'd be a LOT more lenient, but he was throwing a temper tantrum and acting all butt-hurt and now he's going to pay. I told him SOMEBODY was going to write me a check for the damages and I'd do what-the-hell ever I wanted to. And if he didn't give me the money, I'd file a police report and a claim on his insurance, no problem at all. I'm speaking with his grandparents today, who are going to pay. They're going to shit a brick. And they're probably going to be even more pissed after I tell them either them or their insurance company will cut me a check. Because my body shop friend can fix it for next to nothing, if I get it fixed at all. He tried to tell me he would buy me the bumper and I could put it on. He tried to call the shots so I was GOING to let him buy me the bumper, just so I could get my body kit in the next weeek and piss him off. Just being a dumbass.... oh well. He's going to pay for it. And maybe he'll freaking learn.

I know what you mean about stupidity. One of my friends saw that my taillight cover was cracked, so just for fun he went and kicked it in, shattering the entire thing. Even though it was cheap to replace, he still had to pay. Hope your friend can come up with that much. It sucks having a nice car like your MR2 cuz you never know what's gonna happen to it, and when something does happen, it's freakin expensive to fix. Some people are just dumbasses.

That sucks man, i had a friend who did stuff like that, then he almost hit this chick i was dating at the time, he was drunk too. He woke up at the hospital with 13 stitches on his face, 2 missing teeth, a concussion, and a broken arm from where he was trying to cover himself. Just go do that to the guy it will make you feel much better.

Dude, he owes you big time. Call the insurance company to get your car fixed -- you've told him over and over he's going to get in a wreck, now you're contributing to keeping him on the road when he's dangerous. He's going to kill somebody.

I'll file a report and a cliam if he won't pay me. He got the quotes today. I told him he had until this weekend...

Naw, if i'd have hit him I might not have gotten any money from him. If I hit someones car and they punched me, I'd just tell them if they wanted to file the claim, that I'd file for felony assault charges, which is a lot worse than insurance. And i know he's not that smart, but his grandparents are. When I gave him the 2 quotes, he looked at the $925 one and thought for no good reason that it was $1300... and then I gave him the $1125 estimate. and he took that one. thinking it was lower. And I have no idea why. But I sure as shit wasn't gonna tell him any differently...

I'll file a report and a cliam if he won't pay me. He got the quotes today. I told him he had until this weekend...




If you want to go that route, cool. But don't let him drag it out (I used to work in auto insurance).

Sounds like its his grandparents paying, not him.
