Has anyone run aftermarket springs with the stock struts? I was thinking of ground controls. Any input would be great. TIA.

I bought ground control coilovers along with tokico gas shocks for my car. Right now, i have 18" rims on my car and as i speak, the body shop is lowering my car about 2 inches. While i heard coilovers arent the way to go because of the ride, since ground control has the help of eibach, i figure they would be the best bet. The reason why i didnt pick springs is because of the snow in north jersey can get bad in the winter. I figure when winter comes around, ill raise the height of the vehicle back to stock form and change it again in the spring. Ground control are definitely more expensive than the majority of the coilovers out there, but i would say ground control would be the best. Ill leave another message after trying out the coilovers today.
