Hi everyone I have a brand new GM crate motor. Its the 502 HO V8 Gen 6 motor, brand new never been fired. I have been working on this project for 6 months. The reason im selling this motor is flat out just dont have the money I bought a house and bills need to be paid, I have invested over 16,000 in this project between a blower shop 8-71 blower holley blower nitrous kit, superchiller intercooler and blower carbs also I might add these are for sale also. Ok back to the engine first the casting number is 14096859, I had the heads slightly ported, machined down the valve guides because we were gonna put a monster cam in it, also put crane heave duty valve seals in it. This motor comes with everything to fire it up except headers, carb, starter and wires. HEI distributer, intake, flywheel, ballencer are all included. Everything in this motor is forged crank, pistons, and rods. The bore is 4.466 and the stroke is 4.00. The valves are 2.19 intake and 1.88 exhaust. The cam is hydraulic roller with a .510 intake lift and .540 exhaust lift with a .280 duration on both intake and exhaust and its a 112 deg lobe seperation. This motor will pump out around 450 HP. I do have another cam custom cut billet steel C roller cam with a .610 intake lift with a .298 duration and an .632 exhaust lift with a .310 duration with a 112 deg lobe seperation. This cam was supposed to give this motor around 500 HP @ 5200 RPMs. If your intrested in the cam i wanted to get $300.00 for it brand new never used it cost me close to $600.00. Now as for the motor i would like to get $4600.00. Anyone close to Northeast Phildelphia PA is welcome to take a look, I can also send pictures and I have a web sight for when I was doing the buildup you can see the pictures as we did it. Once again Everything in this is BRAND NEW nothing has ever been fired or used. Im trying to be as acurate as possible if anyone is intrested please email me at [email protected] Thanks for everyones time.
