what all would a person have to do swap a 305 tpi to a 350 probably carb? and can a guy take the tpi system from a 305 and put it on the 350 with out goofing it up like would it die after a driving it for a week? and yes i know that it would be better to stay fuel injected and i would if i could because it is more reliable.

not possitive but it seems like you could just need larger ionjectors i would imagine or figure out a trick so it dumps a little xtra ful to compinsate or perhaps would be allright without
id just look up and see if bigger inj. are in the 350s than the 305s never know they may be the same ....
also depends how you wanna drive you night need bigger inj, intake, exhaust, cam everything if you wanna rev to 978976056927 rpms ever y day ya know but im not fimiliar enough with the tpi system to know yet but if i ever get one of a 305 ill be sure to just drop it on a 350 knowing me though
broke but willing to do anything for performancer

305 to 350 is a pretty easy swap.

I would strongly suggest you stay with the TPI setup, it will bolt directly to the 350 and will provide many benifits over a carbed setup, especailly in a computer controlled setup.

The things youll need to change are the injectors, and computer PROM chip to account for the larger demand for fuel.

If you have an 86-88 TPI, just swap to stock 22 lb injectors and get an 88 memcal for a 350, the rest of the TPI is identical between 305 & 350.
If you have a 90-92 TPI, again put in 22 lb injectors and use a 92 memcal for a 350
If you have an 89, 22 lb injectors and an 89 memcal for a 350.

You're also going to want to change to a knock sensor for a 350 and ESC for a 350.

What is the memcal? I heard that it has to do with the PROM chip or something like that. Anything else?
