whens your trash day?

Now what a minute....if i tell you, are you going to be digging thru my trash? Ok well its thursday

As I voted, I was thinking what the point of this thread was, but then I realised what it was.

So for your infomation, my trash is out every second thurday, and I usually have about 5 garbage bags full of your random day to do trash, then about a garbage bag full of used tissues, and other general bathroom waste.

The recycling is out every other thursday, this is where you will find a medium sized score, empty bottles (which in this state can be traded in for 5c each), a few empty boxes and just the normal recyclables.

Now once a year, during the summer holidays is when you will score big. Everybody around the neighbourhood puts all their old broken electronics, old furniture, broken bicycles, and we passed a toilet last year. (but you gotta be quick on these, the streets are covered in people scavaging through our useless crap. (Last year I saw some kid from my school come and pick up 4 chairs from out the front of my place with his Dad, joke is on him, we replaced them because they would sometimes colapse under heavy weight).

P.S, the big bin at work is emptied Wednesdays.

i dont remember when my trash day is, i just take my trash out everyday and it goes somewhere

I burn most of it. What I can not burn I dont know when it gets picked up. I havent paid for service in over 3 years. Never got a bill. I just know sometimes it is gone. Donno

I take my trash off to the county trash dump about twice every week.
Its better than paying someone to come and get it. The trash dump is only about 4 miles down the road.

I take it to the dumpster whenever i feel like it. Whenever that thing gets dumped, I have no clue, I'm always at work.

We don't take out the trash here for it to be picked up. I just throw it over the fence and let the neighbors deal with it.

Nope totaly different. They have there own company here. It is like $20 a month for service. Though I havent gotten a bill in like 3 years.

They come and pick up our trash wednesday morning at like 4 in the morning. So we hafta put it out tuesday night so everyone has a chance to go through it and steal our identity.

Pick up is Thursday morning. We pay like $2.45 or something for a trash sticker, and you can use one sticker per can. Yeah, it gets pricey

In my area, some towns include it in the taxes, otherwise if you live in a town that doesn't include it, you contract out. I pay $57/quarter (just went up $2 due to fuel surcharge for up to 5 bags and recycle bin. Over the years, I've had trash day on every day of the week. Now it's Mondays which I prefer especially if you have a party over the weekend or a holiday and you generate a lot of trash. If it's picked up Monday it doesn't have the chance to sit around and stink, especially in the warm weather.

Around here, trash pickup is included in city taxes. However, I live outside of the city, so I have to pay for pickup. Wednesday.

Friday morning, anywhere between 7 to 10 oclock. - in the country

The city picks up mine. Every Tuesday is trash day for both recyclables as well as regular trash and every friday for trash, two times a week (Which is why I edited the poll to reflect that) :biggrin:
