Was having issues with my CD player...one of the wires that plugs into the connections in the back had come loose...so trying to fix it...and put it back in...(this is the power wire) I accidentally hit it against the metal backing of the cd player...sparks shot everywhere...and then now..I cannot turn off the interior lights...when I shut my car off...it dings like the lights are left on, and wont stop. The ABS light has come now too...and will not go off.
Also, there is no power now to the cd player, its completely dead.
So dead power to cd player, interior lights always on, and ABS light always on now...as of right now, ive just pulled the fuse out that controls the lights so it wont drain the battery.
and no fuses are out, i checked them all, the ones on the side of the dash.
Help?

Welcome to the forum
That sucks. You grounded out / messed up something. My guess is that it's the BCM (battery control module). It's on the passenger side, inside the dash. It controls things lights / battery related, ect. If you toasted it somehow, or messed it up by grounding out / frying something, replacing it may fix it - wait for someone else though - there's lots of guys around here that will know more about electrical stuff like that.

Ride is probably right, however I do know that the radio head unit lights are tied into the head light/dome light switch, you may have feed back through to the switch and that could be causing the dome light. As for the ABS light coming on I'm not sure of any relation to the radio wiring. Like Ridenour says, others with more electrical know how will have an answer for you.
