Brake pads... Axxis Metal Master vs. EBC Green Stuff

I saw a sweet deal on a set of the Axxis M/M pads for my Civic. My question is, should I get them (and match them to some slotted/dimpled rotors, or course) or should I pass it up and get the EBC pads? I've heard excellent things about both. Is the lack of brake dust decreased as much with the Axxis over the EBC, or is it even noticaable with the Axxis? Thanks. :)

I have the EBC pads with dimpled slotted brembo's. EBC has recently changed their print ads to reflect the the fact their pads are not dust free as they had lead people to think. They are dust reduced, 20% to 30%. I will back that "new" claim up with my own experience, they are about 30% less dusty then the metal master pads I was using. I'll add they they are very good pads and I'm not easy on brakes. I have yet to experience any fade.

I have the Axxis MM's. They get the job done, pretty well. I haven't used EBC's. There's definately brake dust all over my rims after 2 days. The car does stop on a dime and my rear drums are trashed. I think my next set I'll try the EBC's though

i know i should maybe start a new topic here but since were talking about the same thing basically, i think i'll just ask you guys! i just bought some brembo slotted/drilled rotors...and i'm trying to decide what pads to use too! i don't want pads that i'll have to clean my rims every 2 days, something that will stop me pretty good but just not dust so much, so besides ebc, what pads do you recommend? Will the slotted/drilled rotors eat up my pads too much if i were to use stock or similar pads? if that is the case, i'll just get some metal masters! any feedback would be nice! Isn't it true that it's the rotors that cause most of the dust...the better the pads, the more it makes the rotor dust? thanks!

It is funny when people post in here and don't read the other posts. If he would have read the other post's then all of his questions would have been answered.

All but a couple, smart guy!! Will those cross drilled/slotted rotors eat up stock pads or similar really fast, compared to the stock rotors? I don't see that answered anywhere! just don't want to spend that much on hawk or similar pads, lookin for something close to stock, i don't care what brand, that are decent and don't dust too much! And about that question about the rotors actually being the part that dusts more than the pads, i don't see that anywhere too! Just lookin for a answer and a suggestion, not a dumb comment!

I've done all the performance pads/rotors....I'm not going to waste my money any more, I use stock rotors and OEM pads, work just as well as far as I'm concerned.

What are you using them for though madtown? I mean, do you autocross, because then it might become more of a factor. If it is just for street use, I wouldn't doubt this is true.
