Modification for Rear 12V outlet, 2001 T & C

2001 Chrysler Town and Country.

I noticed in the manual it states that the dealer can make a mod to make the rear 12V outlet "hot" all the time, instead of using the ignition switch. Has anyone did this mod on their own??? I would think it wouldn't be that difficult, just a wire change or harness change?
