Sometimes if you use an extension that is just the right length, with an offset wobble for the socket, you can angle it in there and get them loose. My neighbor has one of those estate wagons with plastic contact paper paneling on the sides. It's a real cruiser.

I don't know about on your car, but a buddy had a Nova with a 307 and the A/C made it almost impossible to reach the back 2 plugs on the pass side, His dad made him take it to a shop to get tuned up, and later when we got the plugs changed saw the 2 plugs were a different brand-the shop didn't want to mess with it. Anyway, much later on we were replacing his ball joints, and with the wheel off he looked and noticed 2 holes in the frame that allowed easy access to those 2 plugs-hope is the same on your car.
Good luck
