I've got an idea..

Okay I've got an idea..not really original, but maybe....Okay..I'll buy a yellow lancer..buy the EVO VII body kit..but paint all the parts of the body kit black....or vice versa (buy a black lancer OZ..paint the body kit parts yellow)....what do you think?

Why the fu*k would you wanna do that dude? That'll just make it all the more obvious that the car is an IMITATION (apart from looking totaly RICE).

When i see an 'evo' I dont believe its an evo until the see the emblem both on the side and rear; cause no self respecting evo driver would give up his emblem nor would mitsubishi sell them separtely from the real car.

To all those ricers considering doing the same thing as scobel i say.......JUST WAIT FOR THE REAL MCCOY.

and think about this too..... If too many people go the easy route of just buying the body kit and slapping it on an oz or GLX thats bound to reduce the value of the real evo (both financial and sentimental). That maybe great for those of us who dont own one as yet but not so great for those of us who do(especially when the time comes to resell it).

Just dont do it man!:( :(

umm that's my point..not all of us can afford $30,000 cars, but we WANT an EVO.

o.k.....so you prefer to blow $20,000 on a Riced out OZ when you could have SAVED that money toward a real EVO??!! You would have been just $10k from an evo but if you the got the OZ with evo body kit you would be $30k from getting an evo.......There is actually something called SAVING your money you know!

but hey that just my opinion. If a fake evo (I call them NEVOs) is what keeps you up at nights then go for it!

yeah well the Tommi Makinen Edition over here is AU$90,000 so dont fucking complain that $30,000 is too much.

okay, slap on the body kit. Most of these other modded Honda's will stomp you and then point and laugh at you cause you made a regular old lancer into a Evo. There is no point cause it would EMBRASS you. Unless you don't plan to race, that's a different story. But if you have an Evo and you don't plan to race....what's the point? just might as well throw 5k more and get a BMW.
