I know this is a stupid question. I have a 97 rodeo (sport) I just purchased. I can't seem to found the oil dip stick? Normally, I would assume it's on the right side of the engine. But, I can't located. There is a dip stick on the left side of the engine. I think it's the transmission stick. Can anyone help me? I'm trying to check my oil level. Thanks,. :banghead:

Hmmm, not sure what year the change was made, but newer Rodeo's don't have a transmission dipstick, so if that applies to your truck, that one dipstick would be for the oil. Someone else will be along to confirm this, I'm sure. :icon16:

Nope, that's the oil dipstick. The tranny doesn't have a dipstick.
