im looking at gettin an lsd for my gst since the motor is out and i have a question? how come the SBR and phantom grip lsd look so different than a Quaife and a Kaaz? and also the price difference of SBR and Phantom being around 200 and kaaz and Quaife being 700+. if anyone can help me with this it would be great.

From what I've heard, the term "you get what you pay for" really applies lol. Go with the Quaife since you just install it, and there is no maintenence. With say the Phantom or Kaaz, they recommend changing the tranny fluid like every 2k miles with their special fluid.

The sbr and fantoms are clutch type. I think they make it work by when one wheel starts slipping the "clutch" grips and both wheels drive. They are add in lsd's. And from what I here they fuck up and rip up your tranny. Kaazz and Quaife's are a whole new diff.

lysergic acid diethylamide... oh limited slip differential. So instead of one tire being the drive tire both are.
