new to the honda scene

I just bought a 1986 honda crx si. it's been beat a lil bit lol but I was looking for a daily driver as my car (2003 dodge SRT-4) is becoming a track car. There are a few things I want to fix on the Si :

1) the sunroof: where do I find a replacement? right now it's only got a piece of like lexan there.
2) the e-brake cables
3) the rims.

any help on any of this would be helpful guys. like how to's and where to get parts.

does anyone actually visit this site? are there any other 1st gen CRX sites?

yeah there is a few of us around , not a bad looking car ,not very many miles on it for a honda , you might try looking at some salvage yards for the sunroof and the ebrake cables , or check this site out ,its a forum for the 1st gen CRX and 3rd gen Civic http://www.redpepperracing.com/ might find someone on there you can buy the parts from

Thanks man! I joined up and posted in the technical forum. Nice sight and has been really helpful so far...unfourtunatly I want an 11 second SRT-4 and all these honda motor swaps are entirly too tempting! lol

i am a fellow neon owner myself. right now i own a modified 2000, but its going back to stock to trade in on an srt-4.

I also just picked up a 87 crx si. I have sunroof, seals, vent tubes, etc. if you still need one. let me know what its worth to you.

thanks anyway man but I finally got the roof she's coming this weekend. s2000 are nice, there was one at the dyno meet I just went to and he was putting down some serious numbers on HP, the Tq was way down low though. Holy crap about the redline! jesus! that thing was screamin!

The SRT-4 are nice cause they're easyier (or so I think) to mod, good luck with it. my name over on SRTForums is v8killa. I'm mostly in the New england section though.
