96 SE Bonny remote questions

I have a 96 Bonnie and My remoter started acting up I wanted to get a new one from the dealer but dont want to send 68 for one remote so i went to the junk yard and got a few that look like mine out of a 96 97 and 98 bonnie the numbers on the back dont match but will they work if i try to program or do they need to be the same as the old thanks

They need to be the same numbers.
