99 cav z-24 ets light on

help my husband disconected my battery and installed a c.b. radio,ever since my ets light is on and it hesitates as it shifts,he said it won't let it go to third,ok now what reset computer,take it to dealership and let them have both my arms and legs,yeah not funny i know am desperate to have my baby car back.mnm1963
