Made an Infiniti Battery Bracket...check it out...

Guys, Ive been in the process of making an Infniti Battery Bracket.

Theres some interest in these by others and Ill be making more for sale. Right now Im only able to do these in aluminium without any finish. Im checking into powdercoating so that may be an option.

Yeah, I do need to keep that clean, hard when your in a dusty environment.

Im asking $40 for the bracket as-is, no finish, raw aluminium.

Im checking into powder coating but its looking expensive (about $30 each extra). Im also waiting on a quote for anodizing.

Or you can just spraypaint the dang thing like I did

Your going to be waiting a while for mass production...hehe...

Just to let you know guys. $40 is just just below my break even point. Ive got $10 in mateial, and 30 min machine time in each one, considering machine time runs about $100-$125/hour. Not to mention the prep and finish work. Besides this is a Full Custom Piece. Look at the generic Neuspeed ones...there $30 a pop.

I think its a fair deal, considering you will not find a battery bracket with the Infiniti logo anywhere...

The finishing cost (powder coat or anodizing) im just passing thru.

Heres the qote on the anodizing...$20 each additional If I do 10 at a time...I got quotes on Red, Black, Clear, and Blue... so thats a mix of colors...but need 10 minimum

That bracket looks sweet! How long it take you to program it? What machine did you cut it on? I thought about whipping up some billet cupholders for my G for the hell of it. Anyone got any suggestions? I'll probably design it when I get some time. Anyone else possibly interested if it works out? This is just speculation for now, but I'd do it if you wanted me to.
