oil level sensor?

My wife was driving the car and it puked out on the highway. Showed low oil and check engine light. Car really wasnt low on oil and now it refuses to start. rolls over fine. Told it was an oil level sensor by autozone. Does this sound right? Where is it at? and how much will the dealer burn me on it? Or can it be reset?

Hi there, how did you end up fixing this problem? By chance was the error Oil Pump Positioning Sensor?
