This is starting to get really frustraing but I need info on what has to be done to swap the d16y8 head onto the d16y7 block. I don't want to take any shortcuts. I've noticed a lot of people talking about removing the oil flow passage because the non-vtec models don't have the place on the block to bolt up. From what I understand that's part of the advantage of the vtec. So what is needed to do the swap and should i use stick with the stock y7 pistons if I plan on going turbo?
