i had just finished my swap but after 3000 rpms it bogs real bad and is running rich, the question i have is i got to wireing harneses one was directly from a si crx and one was a mdified harness that plug right in to the dx chase harneses withe four wires to plug in to ecu (c1 c2 a7 a3). when i cut the wires from thows slots do i still have to run them to the injectors. i didnt do that but the car runs but wont go past 3000 rpms with out boging bad . think its timeing

i dont know if it has anything to do with the mpfi swap. i had blown the timing belt on my civic and i put a new one on and i was one notch off with the timing belt and at higher rpms(3000 and higher) it bogged down really bad.

Not sure what you mean by cutting the wires if you have a plug in harness to suit. For the car to run you must have wires connecting the injectors to the ECU, right? Might pay to double check everything is wired up right first before looking at anything else.

ill aggree with him. a mpfi swap isnt exactly for the week hearted. if thigns arent done right youll start with a dpfi (hunk of poo number 1) and youll end with a mpfi (in bad running and workin order or i.e. hunk of poo number 2) so and the wires of the injectors do need ot be run into were the ecu is and wired into that other wise your bacly running o n2 injectors still.

ok a3 is run to injector #2 and a7 is run to injector #4. the wires at c1 and c2 need to be moved to b10 and b12. then wires need to be added to c1 and c2 and run to the dist for the crank angle sensor in the dist.
double check what i said because im just going from memory. i have done 2 mpfi swap and both are running fine so yeah.
