Changing Gauge Cluster

I just bought a hatchback and the gauge cluster doesnt have a tachometer on it. I personally dont like the big tachometers that they sell, so I was wondering how hard it is to replace the gauge cluster I have with one that has a tachometer in it? I know how to take the whole thing out I'm just wondering if I have to run some extra wires or something?

thanks for any help

It's plug and play. Plug a cluster with tach for your gen civic into your car, and the tach should work. So if you have a 92-95, take out the old cluster, put in a 92-95 cluster with tach, and just plug the pulgs into the new cluster. The tach should work.

I got a cluster for an automatic for cheap. Covered up the automatic portion of it with indiglo (I have a M/T.)
