Turned out perfect! :sunglasse I know the silver is correct, as I saw it in other pictures. I saw several online albums covering the MAMA's NNL in Baltimore yesterday, and this had to be the one that was in the show.

Excellent! A textbook example of the results you get if you treat each part and subassembly as if they were a model unto themselves. Bravo!

Just Perfect :)
The engine bay looks like it works and all that trouble with the rear mesh was worth it!
If I may make one observation though, for some reason the paint doesn't look as metallic as it did in the buildup thread. Here it looks more like a (very)gloss grey. Still a beautiful colour but not as metallic as it looked before. Still who cares when it looks as good as that.
Cheers
Farrokh

Hey, thanks everyone!! I really appreciate the feedback. I have to say, I had a blast building and posting this one. My next build won't be far behind, I promise.
ZoomZoomMX-5- It was at the Baltimore NNL on Saturday. Tell me- where did you see pics of it??? There was a seperate room where selected models (my F50 included) were photographed for 'possible publication', but the photographers were pretty unspecific as to where it might be shown. If anyone comes across pics of it, either in print or on the web, I'd love to know where.
Fkouch- I think the color looks different on these shots because they were taken outside. My camera has different settings for incandecent/tungsten lighting (which I used for all of the workbench shots), and daylight, which I ued for these pics. I think the daylight setting seems to make it look alot blue-er than the workbench shots. It does look a bit different than it looks in person, but I like how they came out- this one especially:

I still have more to learn about the camera. Maybe with the next build....

People were posting links to their albums after the show, but not anything from the magazines themselves (Scale Auto or Model Cars).
Here are the ones I found on the Hobby Heaven message board, tons of pics from the show to chew on for a few hours  :
