This is what I think is the best looking interior. Obviously not the most luxerious, but prefectly put together!!

Acura RSX CONCEPT

some interiors are just awfull.. like volvo. But Acura's, Pagani's, Ferrari's, Aston Martin's, and Audi just has something I like -- BMW too! oh yeah, Lotus also. Light looking, bare-looking, but still GREAT!

All I like from that are the colors, the steering wheel, and the big flat "console" thingy under the video screen. :D

You know why they made it like that right? So they could switch it to LHD easier. Lots of manufacturers are doing that now. I think the Toyota ECHO was the first of the recent batch to start (restart) this, but I want to say that the old Mini Coopers did that, too. Was it for the same reason?

Cheap ass bastards...

That interior is very nice. Very nice indeed. But it has nothing on the crown jewel of all car interiors: the Z8.

Call me "old school", but i cant get used to this idea of not having the gauges etc right in front of you :bloated:

What about TVR's interiors?

I really like the Cerbera interior, with the little cave or hole or whatever you want to call it by the shifter.

i really like the TVR's too. i like how they put gauges under the steering wheel. it looks cool.

I've got you all beat, the best company every in one of the most advanced sports cars ever. the Ferrari 360 Modena, red with tan leather and a black dash. oh yeah!

I gotta say (showing my age here) that for me, most modern dashboards look like gloop, with all those soft rounded sombre grey etc plastik forms. Where's the passion? The exhuberance? AWOL I reckon.

I LERVED the dash of my '65 Buick Riviera GS, all chrome and wood everywhere and a speedo the size of a dinner-plate - beautifully integrated console sweeping right through the interior, and complete with a gorgeous chrome 'jet-tube' steering column.

The all-time ultimate, however, has to be the '61 Chrysler 300-F, with the electro-luminescent display - if you've ever seen one of those babies light up at night, and then use the digit to push that eerily soft-green glowing 'D' button on that pushbutton torqueflite auto .. gasp! - settle down, boy ..

I like those fancy sporty interiors, but my fav is the Lexus LS430. It has more Luxo interior features than any other luxo cruiser {see MT July'01}.

Looks like they stole the AC vents from the latest generation Celicas :lol2:, but none the less a nice interior. There are so many nice ones out there, but 2 personal favorites of mine are BMW and VW interiors (newest generations). :D

While I'll admit it is VERY nice. I'll also have to say that I have seen better.

TVR and BWM make the best interiors IMHO. :)

I sat in the new M3 and it was perfect. Never sat in a TVR but from pics they look killer all the way. :)

Personally I like the dodge viper's interior, it's small, but I like it a lot. It's really comfortable and snug. :)

About the original car interior- I think that the Acura exhibits exactly what a car's interior should look like: everything is right in front of you, and even without sitting in the cockpit, you know where everything is and what everything does. Everything seems where it "should" be. One thing however, I think that the buttons on the steering wheel look a little bit misplaced and even asymmetrical. Also, the shifter could look nicer too; it looks much too cheap.

Lemme know what you think.

THANK YOU!! the best damn interior ever is the 4th gen prelude...

(and not because i own one)

everything is easily accessable, the throw is very short, no reaching, the dash is clean, simple, and very cool....

but that second picture Mafi0s0....why is there a cheetah hanging from her engine? im just kidding man. but still theres a cheetah coming from her engine....

I don't care for the 4th Gen. Lude interior.
Just my opinion tho, so what does that matter right?

My favorite interior as of now for LUXURY would have to be the '03 7 Series interior. It's flat out PIMPED!

From a more "performance" aspect, and when I say "performance" I really mean "Drag Racing" :D , I think I like the Pontiac Trans Am interior. I'm probably biased on that one thogh, but I'll post a few pics of some in "drag trim" as soon as I can get a couple. :)

that first interior is unoriginal and boring IMO. nothing special at all...
bets interiors (for dift reasons) are:
Ferrari - extravagance, stylish, maybe a little OTT
Porsche - elegant, purposeful
Lamborghini - makes driver feel like fighter pilot
Maserati - extravangant, beautiful
Alfa Romeo - sooooo sexy (GTV)
Bentley - wow... those thick carpets, that dash.. *drooling
Mercedes - elegant, soothing, so comfortable.. maybe too safe though
BMW - classy, sporty, lets the driver know he's in control
Audi - perfectly engineered, if a little cold/boring (bar TT)
just my 2p's worth

cheers,
jay

PS. what the hell is wrong with the attachments feature? i cant get any pics to attach. it says the attachment must be a text file yet ive seen recent posts with pics in 'em ?!?!?!

I think that the integra and civic interiors suck bad, but the rest of the Honda interiors are awsome.

Well my opinion is that Audi make some very nice interiors (Especially the steering wheels) BMW make really boring ones (Except Z8, Z3 and 7-series) Ferrari, Lambo and Porsche make very sporty and elegants ones.

But the best interior has to go to Mercedes, especially the S600/S55 AMG with thier ergonomics and many cool switches to fuck around with, combined with stand-out design

whats with all the gauges being in the middle of the dash... they should be behind the steering wheel... that periferal vision is lame, when they'er under the wheel you just have to look straight up and straight down... its that simple

My neighbour has an S500 and let me tell you the quality of the interior wasnt all that. However, there are indeed many cool switches to f*ck around with! :D
