Well that exaust went a full year without getting me pulled over, but it finaly happened tonight (as usual AFTER picking up food, which then gets ice cold by the time I get home).

The citation (Fix-it) is for "excessive noise". I'll probably get the car tested and after passing (I really doubt I'm +95DB) I'll contest the ticket. I'm sure several of you guys have already gone up against this, any free tips?

California, 1990 240sx, KA24E, K&N intake, 2.5" catback, no resonator, magnaflow twintip, pretty much a straight shot.

damn that sux. California is just weird to me. I mean is it really loud there to begin with?? Why have an exhaust decible law. I think its funny how there's a butt load of tuning shops in cali, but they have the strictest laws. Ironic.

It actually makes a lot of sense. This way, they can design stuff to strict limitations rather than design something and find out its not legal. All the car people need to move out of there so we can tell them to kiss our ass and run whatever we want.lol
