help!!!

I am the proud new owner of an 1997 r33 gts-t. a drive last night revealed a DRAMA! The car would not rev above 2000 rpm. It seems like a fuel starving issue - the car seems normal til around 2000 revs then it kangaroo's and dies in the arse. It has an apex engine management system that doesn't seem to manage anything! The car will now not idle smoothly, but instead surges from almost stalling to around 1200 rpm and back.
Please tell me what is wrong! I am 18 yo and have only had the car a few days - it was not a problem during the test drives or over the first 48 hours. I AM SCARED I HAVE BLOWN ALL MY HARD EARNED!!!

do tou know anyone else with a skyline the same as yours just to borrow the computer to put the stock one in to see if its the apexi n if it aint that try and find a performance workshop to run a scan tool on it or even put it on the dyno all about elimination the easy problems the dyno n scan tool will tell you the problem what town do u live in

also make sure you doble check all the intercoller pipes
