Trouble removing left front axle

I am deciding to replace my motor in my 96 cavalier 2.4L. Im starting with removing the axles and I got the right front one off alright but the left front one will not come off. The right front I just had to unhook the mount from the engine and I just slid the axle right out. On the left front Im trying to pull on it but it will not come out. Ive looked around the axle to see if theres a bolt but I do not see one. Ive pulled and pulled and it will only move very very slightly. I feel like there is a pin or something holding it but I do not know where it can be??? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this this.

first off, with this magnitude of work, get a haynes manual or the like.

second, you can try a crowbar near the engine, otherwise the proper way to do it is to rent or buy the fwd wheel axle pulley removal tool attached to a slide hammer.
