How much should I expect to pay for a new clutch. Had mine replaced when I blew my engine for an additional $200, but the f-ed up the flywheel, now there is all this horrible chatter/stuttering whenever I start up in first, so I need to redo it. I want to do it cheaply, but I definitely don't want to experience this kind of shadiness again. What is a reasonable price and who is recommended? Thanks.

how long ago was the clutch replaced? if it has only been a few hundred or maybe a thousand or two, and a shop did the job then have them redo it. if the refuse then call the better business beru (inform the shop of your intent first, that usually solves all problems if they know they are at fault but want to hold out for some more cash). if you got some kid down the street to do it then definately don't take it to him again. the fewer miles you put on the clutch the better as far as the BBB argument. less than one-thousand is a sure bet though.
