Custom Altezza lighting

Hey all, i wanted to make my own altezza lights for my escort wagon cause unfortuantely there are no aftermarket ones out there. I was wondering if this was possible, Wut materials i should use, and how it should be done. THnx

If you're good with shaping plexiglass, *heat up the stock tail lights to seperate the backing from the lens*, shape plexiglass to the exact shape of the original (at least where it mates with the backing), line the backing with high temp silver paint and clear, use vent tubing from Home Depot to form the light tubes, cut and use your stock lenses to cover the tops of the tubes, and epoxy the new clear lens to the stock backingyou made silver,

Any step/materials can be replaced with something you think will work better

I've never done this, but be creative, and take your time, or else it will look like you did them yourself,

*the lenses of the taillights do come off but you got to use a heat gun or the oven to melt the glue. i wouldnt recommend it i tried it on my headlights to clean the condensation and i broke one of them. anyway once you heat them up and pull them apart(not break them apart with a screwdriver) you pull and heat... thyen you just paint the red shit black and the brake lights will still be plenty visible. theres a dude selling them on ebay for like 50 a set i think. he does it like i just explained.He was talking about tinted lights though, not alteza,
