Release fuel pressure for filter replacement

Hi

I am new with Alero maintenance .
My simple question is about fuel filter replacement. How I can decrease fuel system pressure before it?

Open the hood and remove the cover to the box that says "FUSE RELAY". Start the car and let it warm up to normal operating temperature. With the car started, pull the fuse in the fuse relay box that says "FUEL PUMP". The car will stutter and die because the fuel pump is no longer working. This is normal. Replace the fuse relay and perform the filter change.
