Door Panels remove ?

How do I take off the door panel off my wifes 96 Grand Am? I can`t get the window knob off, The window is off it track ,but I can`t get the window knob off,I remember taking off door panels from years ago .Gm had U shaped pins but I did not see them on this one.

Thank you for the fast reply.I got the window knob off and will get back to work on it in the morning.Made a pin remover tool out of a fork.

Ridenour and Knifeblade 03 ,That I came up with long ago or someone showed me that trick with a fork,The best thing is it works,Thanks to all that helpme with this door knob removing.The pin was just hidding real close to the widow handle.

Tom the fork is a great idea, I have a small screwdriver that I bent into hook, it works great. I know that there is a special tool for the removal of the "C" clip. Rember to take your time, the plastic pins that hold the interior panel in place can break or if you pull too hard on the panel you can crack the retaining socket for the pin, I use needlenose pliers or diagonal cutters to slowly pry the pins out. Be just as careful putting the panel back on if they are not in place and you push too hard you can actually put the pins right through the panel.
