Help with rear brakes on 2002 Elantra GT

I have a friend who offered to do my brakes for me. Here's the question... do you need a puller to replace the rear brakes? The front brakes are pretty easy, that I could do myself, but the rear brakes are a little more complicated.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a good "how to" guide that they know of?

Thanks!

J
